Syrian director Mohammed Abdulaziz is preparing to start filming his new series "Al-Malik Family", which is expected to be aired in the upcoming Ramadan season, in an intriguing drama that reflects a complex and conflict-laden reality.

A team of prominent writers, including Shadi Kiwan, Maan Saqabani, and Miada Ibrahim, participated in writing the script. The series is set in contemporary times and ends just hours before the fall of the previous regime, adding a deep historical and personal dimension to the story.

The story begins with the phenomenon of "Al-Khuwat" imposed by the security agencies on the merchants of Damascus, then expands to explore the reality of informal settlements from within, depicting a fierce conflict over money and the desire for power.

Amidst this conflict, a complex love story develops between a former detainee and a popular hero who finds himself in a heated confrontation with his authoritarian and influential brother, increasing the dramatic tension and giving the work a vital human touch.

The series "Al-Malik Family" promises to offer a new and distinctive vision that reflects the reality of Syrian society in that sensitive period, with intriguing dramatic atmospheres eagerly awaited by the audience in the upcoming Ramadan.
