The Syrian Ministry of Administrative Development issued today, Monday, Decision No. (302) of 2025, forming the final drafting committee for the civil service law project to replace the basic law for state employees No. (50) of 2004.

The Ministry of Administrative Development stated that the committee includes a group of representatives from relevant ministries and specialized experts in human resources and administrative legislation. They were tasked with reviewing the initial draft prepared by the technical working teams at the ministry in previous months and drafting the final version of the law project within forty-five days.

The ministry added that the project aims to crystallize a modern law that enhances the principles of competence, equal opportunities, and aligns with the requirements of comprehensive institutional transformation in line with the state's aspirations to build a sound and efficient public administration.

It noted that the first session of the committee is scheduled to be held during the current week to announce the start of a precise phase of national legislative work based on professionalism, participation, institutional coordination, and public interest.
