Liverpool signs Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace for £35 million

Sky Sports reported that Guéhi, who shone in his team's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa last Sunday, underwent a medical examination in London, paving the way for the official announcement of the deal before 18:00 GMT.
Liverpool is also expected to announce another massive deal by signing Swedish striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United for a record fee of £125 million, bringing the club's summer spending close to the £500 million mark.
Guéhi is considered one of the top defensive talents in England, having progressed through Chelsea's academy, then enjoying a successful stint with Swansea City before joining Crystal Palace in 2021. Since his first international match in 2022, he has become a key player in the England national team.
Guéhi was part of the team that won the first title in Palace's history last season, after defeating Manchester City in the FA Cup final, making him one of the club's standout stars.
His departure to Anfield is a significant blow for coach Oliver Glasner, who expressed his regret by saying: "We should have kept him".
