The Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi renewed today, Friday, his country's position calling for lifting the sanctions imposed on Syria.
The Jordanian news agency "Petra" reported that Safadi affirmed during his meeting today with his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi in Tokyo, the necessity of lifting sanctions on Syria, and supporting the Syrian government's efforts to rebuild on foundations that ensure the security, stability, sovereignty, and safeguard the rights of all Syrian people.
This came during talks he held in Tokyo with his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi and Japanese officials, according to a statement from the Jordanian Foreign Ministry.
