In a step aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Jordan and Syria, Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, "Yarub Qudah," affirmed that the kingdom continues its efforts to be a main gateway for entering reconstruction projects in Syria.
Speaking during a dialogue session organized by the Engineering Business Forum, Qudah mentioned that there are five sectoral committees working to enhance continuous coordination between the two countries.
Qudah explained that the consulting and engineering services sector in Jordan has great opportunities to benefit from reconstruction projects in Syria and Iraq, leveraging the capabilities and experiences of the Jordanian sector.
He also pointed out that the Jordanian government continues to provide an ideal environment for various sectors, especially the engineering sector, to invest in available opportunities in Iraq, in addition to proposing reconstruction projects in Syria.
Qudah emphasized that Jordanian exports to Syria have witnessed a clear increase in the first quarter of the current year, reflecting the strengthening of trade cooperation between the two countries.
Thus, Jordan remains on the right track to be a key partner in the massive reconstruction projects that Syria will witness in the near future.
