Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, at the Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi, the most important regional developments and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
The discussions addressed the depth of the brotherly relations between Jordan and the UAE, emphasizing the expansion of cooperation and joint work to serve the interests of the two countries and the issues of the Arab nation.
The two leaders affirmed their support for the rights of the Palestinian people and their continuous efforts at the international level to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, considering it the only way to achieve stability in the region.
They also stressed the necessity of immediately stopping the war on Gaza and ensuring the continued flow of humanitarian aid, while rejecting Israeli plans aimed at entrenching the occupation of Gaza or settlement expansion in the West Bank, which undermine the chances of achieving peace and regional security.
