The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that Tel Aviv fully coordinated with the United States to carry out an aerial attack on vital Iranian nuclear facilities.
A high-ranking Israeli official announced that US President Donald Trump informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the attack's timing on Friday night, with reports indicating a phone call between them after the operation.
In an official statement, the Israeli army emphasized the enforcement of public safety measures following the attack, including the closure of schools and workplaces except for essential sectors, to maintain internal security.
Meanwhile, informed Iranian sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that US forces bombed the nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan early Sunday morning, as reported by The New York Times.
President Trump, through his Truth Social account, confirmed the success of the attack carried out by American warplanes on the three facilities, stating that the planes are now safely out of Iranian airspace en route back to their bases.
Describing the operation as larger than any military force in the world, Trump declared, "It is time for peace," emphasizing that Fordow suffered extensive damage and urging Iran to immediately accept ending the war.
This attack comes on the tenth day of confrontation between Iran and Israel, in a dangerous escalation reshaping the map of regional conflict and putting the region on the brink of a broader confrontation.
