The website "Flight Radar 24", specialized in tracking air traffic, has observed a significant increase of 500% in the number of flights over Afghan airspace in recent days, amidst escalating military tensions in the Middle East.
This increase is attributed to many international airlines redirecting their routes away from Iranian and Iraqi airspace, which are facing increased security risks due to the escalating military exchanges between Iran and Israel.
In a related context, a US defense official confirmed to ALARABIYA ENGLISH channel yesterday, Saturday, that the B2 stealth bombers, known as "bomb carriers", have left the United States and flown over the Pacific Ocean, amid rising tensions in the Middle East following the intense war between Israel and Iran.
The world is awaiting the next decisions of US President Donald Trump regarding engagement in the conflict after directing a strike at Iranian nuclear facilities.
Additionally, two US officials informed Reuters yesterday that the United States has transferred B_2 bomber aircraft to Guam in the Pacific Ocean.
Flight tracking data and voice communications showed that six B_2 stealth bombers, departed from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, heading towards a US airbase in Guam, according to Fox News network.
These developments come as oil prices record weekly gains amid monitoring of the Iranian-Israeli conflict and its impact on global markets.
