Israeli Army Announces Assassination of Head of Money Exchange Network Linked to Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army reported today, Wednesday, June 25, that its forces targeted and killed Haitham Abdullah Bakri, the director responsible for the "Al-Sadiq" money exchange network, in an airstrike in southern Lebanon.
Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee confirmed in a post on the "X" platform that "Air Force planes carried out a precise strike yesterday, based on intelligence, resulting in the elimination of Bakri." Adraee pointed out that Bakri "was deliberately cooperating" with Hezbollah to finance its activities by transferring money.
The spokesperson revealed that the "Al-Sadiq" money exchange network operates as a financial tool for storing and transferring money, with support and coordination from the Iranian Quds Force, to support the party's military operations. He explained that this money is directed towards purchasing weapons and military equipment, covering fighters' salaries, as well as funding operational activities for the party.
