The "Al-Masirah" channel, affiliated with the Houthi group in Yemen, stated that Israel attacked the Salif port in Al-Hudaydah province on the western coast of Yemen today, Friday, in what appears to be a response to the launching of missiles by the Houthis towards Israel. The channel did not provide further details, but two residents of Al-Hudaydah reported hearing four loud explosions. Israel has not yet commented on the attack. The Houthis continued to launch rockets at Israel, claiming it is a campaign to support Palestinians in Gaza despite their agreement to cease attacks on American ships. The Israeli army, which carries out numerous retaliatory strikes against Houthi targets, intercepted a missile launched by the group on Thursday. Earlier this week, Israel issued warnings to evacuate the ports of Ras Isa, Al-Hudaydah, and Salif, stating that the Houthis, allied with Iran, are using them.
