Israel acknowledges harming Palestinian civilians at aid distribution centers in Gaza

The Israeli army acknowledged today, Monday, that Palestinian civilians were harmed at aid distribution centers in Gaza, saying that instructions were issued to the forces based on "lessons learned".

The United Nations reported that more than 400 Palestinians have been killed while trying to obtain aid since Israel lifted an 11-week blockade on aid entering Gaza on May 19, allowing limited shipments of humanitarian aid to resume.

A military spokesperson also said that the incidents in which Gaza residents were harmed are under review.
