Iranian Foreign Minister: The continuation of indirect talks between Washington and Tehran is "unjustified."

Araghchi explained in a call with the EU's Foreign Policy Chief, Kaya Klays, that "Israel's hostile actions are a result of direct U.S. support," emphasizing that "continuing indirect talks between Iran and the United States in light of the ongoing brutality of the Zionist regime is unjustified."
Araghchi condemned "the violation of Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the attack on nuclear facilities and residential areas, which led to the killing of a group of Iranian military personnel, university professors, women, and children," calling for "a decisive global response and international condemnation of the Israeli aggression."
He also stressed that "attacking peaceful nuclear facilities is illegal and completely prohibited under international law, and the international community is obligated to hold the Zionist regime accountable for this serious and unprecedented violation of the law."
On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ismail Baghaei, said in a statement ahead of the talks scheduled for Sunday: "It is clear that under such circumstances, and until the Zionist regime's aggression against the Iranian nation stops, engaging in dialogue with a party that is the biggest supporter and partner of the aggressor is meaningless."
He added that "the focus of the Iranian diplomatic apparatus is currently fully on confronting Israeli aggression."
He pointed out that "despite all its claims regarding dialogue and diplomacy, the United States colludes with Israel, including targeting Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities."
