Interior Ministry: Sweida is Moving Towards Resolution in Favor of the State According to the Presidential Vision

The spokesperson for the Syrian Interior Ministry, Nour al-Din al-Baba, said, "Things in the Sweida governorate are moving towards resolution in favor of the Syrian state, within the vision set by the presidency."

"Al-Baba" emphasized that the deployment of security forces in Sweida came after communicating with all active parties there, expecting a resolution by Monday afternoon.

He added that "outlaw groups rely on using civilians as human shields" and reiterated, "Recovering the kidnapped individuals is only a matter of time, and those who want to join the state's agencies are welcome."


"Al-Baba" stressed the necessity of completely disarming the "outlaw groups" in the Sweida governorate.
