The French Ministry of Interior has issued instructions to tighten security measures nationwide, emphasizing the need to raise alert levels and readiness to face any potential threat. Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau stated that the decision aims to secure various sites that may be potential targets for terrorist attacks or hostile acts by foreign entities, urging security leaders and police directors to pay special attention to securing places of worship, schools, public facilities, as well as high-traffic areas, in addition to religious and cultural events witnessing large gatherings. Retailleau also mentioned that French intelligence agencies, along with internal security forces, municipal police, and "Sentinelle" operational units, are mobilizing all their human and technological resources to implement a comprehensive security plan to enhance the protection of citizens and state institutions amidst the tense regional conditions.
