On July 2nd of each year, World UFO Day is celebrated, an occasion where believers in the existence of intelligent life outside planet Earth gather and exchange "evidence" of that.
Although many, including scientists, believe that the phenomenon known as "Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs)" is nothing but visual hallucinations and reflections of mysterious natural phenomena, in their mist, some see extraterrestrial vehicles and beings with forms alien to Earth. However, there are indeed officially classified events as "unknown and mysterious and not subject to any "earthly" explanation".
Among these numerous unexplained events that lean more towards acknowledging the existence of "unidentified flying objects" indeed, we have selected the most reliable.
One recorded incident of this kind occurred on April 14, 1561, during the time of the Holy Roman Empire, specifically in the current area of "Nuremberg" in Germany. The incident was documented by a printed newsletter authored by the artist Hans Glaser.
The newsletter described astonishing scenes conveyed from observations and rays of celestial bodies and various shapes resembling bright red balls, and cylinders in the sky engaging in chaotic aerial combat for about an hour.
A report titled "Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena", issued by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence of the United States on June 25, 2021, stated that out of 144 "governmental" reports on sightings of unidentified flying objects between 2004 – 2021, 18 cases were found to indicate that "unidentified flying objects use advanced technology".
The report highlighted examples of advanced technology, pointing to "instantaneous acceleration" and "invisibility to detection" and "transmedium travel", meaning seamless movement between air and water.
The certainty about "flying saucers" has not yet come, an issue to which some have dedicated and continue to dedicate their lives and efforts to confirm, as they are still "flying", according to the never-ending evidence, moving easily and swiftly between the waters of seas and oceans and the air, as if mocking all humans.
Who knows, the situation may change one day, and a "flying saucer" may land on Earth, from which an intelligent being emerges saying: "Hello people.. Sorry for the delay, we have been watching you for centuries"!
