In a significant step reflecting the ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the country, the Internal Security Directorate in Homs city carried out a precise security operation that resulted in the seizure of large quantities of explosive devices, explosives, as well as an arsenal of various weapons and ammunition. The Syrian Ministry of Interior affirmed through its official channel on "Telegram" that the operation took place inside centers and gatherings affiliated with unlawful groups, where these large quantities of weapons and explosive devices were found, posing a direct threat to the city's security and citizens' safety. The Ministry's statement read: "As part of the continuous efforts to enhance security and stability, the Internal Security Directorate in Homs city conducted a security operation resulting in the seizure of explosive devices, explosives, as well as various weapons and ammunition found inside centers and gatherings affiliated with unlawful groups." This operation is part of the ongoing security strategy to combat criminal activities and pursue anyone who dares to jeopardize the nation's security and stability. The relevant authorities emphasize their commitment to uproot security threats and counter any attempts to disrupt civil peace.
