"Her behaviors are alarming and frightening" .. Britney Spears faces shocking accusations from her ex-husband

Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of American pop star Britney Spears and the father of her two children, accused his former wife of "alarming and frightening" behaviors, in an excerpt from his upcoming memoir titled "You Would Think You Know," according to The New York Times.
Federline (47 years old) explained that he feels deep concern for Spears' mental state, noting that their sons Sean Preston (20 years old) and Jayden James (19 years old) have experienced "terrifying" situations, as he claimed they "sometimes wake up to find their mother standing at their bedroom door holding a knife."
Increasing concern and a call to “sound the alarm”
Federline wrote in his memoir: "It has become impossible to pretend that everything is fine... It is time to sound the alarm."
He confirmed that he has not communicated with Spears for years, even though they share custody of their children who live with him most of the time.
The legacy of guardianship and painful memories
Federline touched on the guardianship period that Britney underwent under the supervision of her father Jamie Spears for 13 years, which ended in 2021, describing that era as the "harshest" in their lives, referring to the incident of her forced psychological evaluation in 2008 following a dispute over custody.
The “Free Britney” movement between support and harm
Federline discussed in his book the "Free Britney" movement, considering that it started with noble motives to defend her, but later turned into a psychological and media burden on the singer and her children. He said: "I was their support for years, but now it’s bigger than me... They need broader support."
Concern over her recent behaviors and mixed reactions
Federline's statements came after controversial videos circulated showing Britney dancing nearly naked in her home, raising questions about her mental stability.
Spears had spoken in her memoir released in 2023 titled "The Woman Inside Me" about her struggles during the guardianship period, confirming that she was "afraid of losing her children" and that she is still trying to regain her balance after years of restrictions.
