Former Israeli hostage "Mia Shem" accuses a fitness trainer of raping her.

Israeli media sources reported that a well-known fitness trainer in Tel Aviv is facing allegations of sexually assaulting a woman who was previously held by Hamas before being released.
The incident has sparked widespread controversy, with conflicting accounts between the victim's statements and doubts about the credibility of the story.
According to the Hebrew site "Mako," former prisoner Mia Shim filed an official complaint with the police accusing the trainer of causing her to lose consciousness with drugs, then assaulting her in an apartment in northern Tel Aviv. She stated that she met the suspect at his gym, frequented by public figures.
Reports added that a friend of the victim took her to the hospital after finding her in a disturbed state, with medical examination revealing signs supporting the rape allegations.
The trainer admitted meeting Shim at the mentioned location but completely denied any involvement in any illegal acts.
Shim was captured during the attack on October 7, 2023, and released a month later. She previously stated that she constantly feared being assaulted during her captivity.
The incident has provoked angry reactions in Israeli circles, especially due to the victim's public figure status, while some media outlets questioned the story, citing investigation complexities, including difficulties in verifying the sedation claims.
Shim canceling her wedding, scheduled for March 24, has raised further questions about her motives.
Some media outlets have published speculations suggesting that the story may be exaggerated or fabricated, given the lack of conclusive evidence so far. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
