Flight Cancellations in Montreal and Ottawa, Canada After Bomb Threat

A bomb threat today, Thursday, caused departing flights from international airports in Montreal and Ottawa, Canada to be halted, according to the American Federal Aviation Administration.
All air traffic control towers were evacuated due to bomb threats, and flights in Montreal and Ottawa were stopped at 8:45 a.m. local time.
This incident is not the first worldwide this year. Earlier this year, US authorities announced the discovery of a bomb threat note on an Allegiant Air plane at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport in Florida, leading to the evacuation of the plane and temporary closure of the airport.
Police confirmed no explosives were found after a thorough search.
