Explosion in Aleppo.. The Syrian Army clarifies the reason

Syrian media reported on Monday evening hearing the sound of an explosion in the city of Aleppo.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) mentioned that the relevant authorities began investigating its nature, before it became clear that the explosion was caused by the detonation of remnants of war by the engineering units of the Syrian Arab Army on the western outskirts of the city.

This incident comes after a series of explosions that Aleppo has witnessed in recent months, the most notable of which were:

August 17: An explosion in the Al-Maysar neighborhood, which later turned out to be caused by a person detonating himself with a suicide belt following family disputes.

July 11: An explosion inside an old underground ammunition depot in the Al-Nayrab area east of the city, which resulted in 14 civilians being injured with varying degrees of wounds.


No injuries or significant damage were recorded in the explosion that occurred this evening.
