Elon Musk Releases AI Program "Grok 2.5" to Be Available for Everyone
In a move that will enrich the field of artificial intelligence, billionaire Elon Musk announced via the "X" platform the transformation of the advanced artificial intelligence model "Grok 2.5" (Grok 2.5) into an open-source model, putting the source code in the hands of developers and researchers for study, modification, and development with complete freedom.
And this is not the end, as Musk revealed the future roadmap for the technology, "adding that the latest version "Grok 3" will be released as open-source in about six months."
This announcement crowns the evolution journey of "Grok", the chatbot that "resembles ChatGPT" and is integrated into the X platform, developed by the company (xAI) founded by Musk in 2023. In addition to a comprehensive set of text processing tools that "allow for various forms of processing on texts, such as creating, summarizing, and rephrasing them."
For users via the website Grok.com, there is an option to customize their experience, as "the Grok platform allows the selection of one of four usage modes, which vary between search Search, which focuses on intensive web searching before answering user inquiries."
