Egyptian artist Rania Youssef announces her marriage to director Ahmed Gamal

Egyptian artist Rania Youssef officially announced her marriage to director Ahmed Gamal, in news that surprised their audience and fans of the artistic community.
The announcement came via the artist's account on "Instagram", where she posted a story featuring a picture of them together for the first time, taken during their attendance at the wedding of artist Bayoumi Fouad's son. This first appearance as a couple immediately sparked curiosity among followers and media outlets.
Close sources revealed that the marriage took place about a month and a half ago, after a love story developed between them while working on the series "The People's Name is Mohamed" which aired during last Ramadan. It is noted that this marriage is the fourth in the life of artist Rania Youssef.
The announcement raised many questions about the identity of the husband, who is considered a face that does not frequently appear in the media, prompting many to search for his artistic career. It turned out that Ahmed Gamal has been involved in the arts for over a decade, starting as an assistant director in prominent works, most notably the series "The Psychic" starring Adel Imam.
Gamal participated in directing the series "Hidden Worlds" in 2018, and his last artistic collaboration with the artist before their marriage was through the series "Valentino". After a relative absence, he made a strong comeback in the Ramadan 2024 season as the executive director of the series "The Hashishins", which achieved great public success, reaffirming his name among the top directors.
For her part, artist Rania Youssef is preparing to showcase her new series "Link" scheduled to be released next October on one of the digital platforms, as part of the winter works and "Off Season" productions. The work features major stars including: Sayed Ragab, Mimi Jamal, Mahmoud Yassin Junior, Farah Al-Zahid, Mina Abu Al-Dahab, Lina Sofia, Selim Turk, Ahmed Sayam, and Zainab Al-Abed, in addition to a number of other artistic faces.
