Mbappe transferred to hospital due to stomach inflammation

Real Madrid, the Spanish club, announced today, Thursday, that their French striker Kylian Mbappe was transferred to the hospital after suffering from stomach and intestinal inflammation during the Club World Cup currently taking place in the United States.

Real Madrid stated in a press release: "Our player Kylian Mbappe is suffering from acute stomach and intestinal inflammation and has been transferred to the hospital for a series of tests and to follow the appropriate treatment plan".

The Frenchman Mbappe missed Real's first match in the Club World Cup, which ended in a 1-1 draw with Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
