Developments in Russian-Ukrainian Negotiations in Geneva

A source in the Russian negotiating delegation reported on Wednesday that the head of the delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, held closed talks lasting two hours with the Ukrainian delegation in Geneva.

In this context, the Washington Post reported from diplomats that one of the main substantive disagreements between Moscow and Kyiv is the issue of control over the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe and has been a major point of tension since the outbreak of the war.
