Daraa Hosts "Abshir Horan": A Celebration Blending Heritage, Renaissance, and Construction

The "Abshir Horan" campaign kicked off this evening at the ancient Busrasham amphitheater in eastern Daraa, with a wide official and popular presence that included several ministers and social, religious, and cultural figures, in a celebration that blends historical symbolism with a humanitarian message.
The event included artistic and poetic segments that reflect the heritage of Horan and the values of nobility and giving, along with Horan chants that enhance cohesion and national unity, presented by the popular arts troupe in the governorate, affirming the deep ties between the region's residents and their historical land.
Ahmad Zidan, advisor to the presidency, stated in a statement to "SANA" that the "Abshir Horan" campaign represents the beginning of a path of construction jihad, emphasizing that the people of Horan, who ignited the spark of the blessed revolution, will play a pivotal role today in preserving national continuity and contributing to the reconstruction of Syria and achieving sustainable victory.
For his part, Minister of Information Hamza Mustafa confirmed that Daraa Governorate will witness a wide path of reconstruction led by its children, pointing out that reconstruction will reflect pride, dignity, and national belonging, and will include developmental and service projects to improve the economic and social reality and restore the governorate's status at the level of Syria and the region.
Tourism Minister Mazen Al-Salhani clarified that the campaign will support tourism in Busrasham, with the restoration of hotels and historical areas, and provide job opportunities for the governorate, while Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin Al-Saleh emphasized that culture is an essential part of the national project for community recovery, starting from building the citizen and reaching the enhancement of civil peace.
The "Abshir Horan" campaign aims to raise about 33 million dollars to support various developmental and service projects, including the restoration of schools and the rehabilitation of medical centers, maintenance of networks, water, and alternative energy, in addition to improving roads, infrastructure, and cleanliness, contributing to the renaissance of Daraa Governorate and raising the quality of life for its people.
