Conflict or Friendships? Vance and Rubio Clarify Before the 2028 Elections

In an intriguing television interview, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance laughed and confidently responded to speculation about his conflict with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, affirming that the latter is one of his closest friends within the administration.
Vance stated that the media is trying to fabricate a conflict where none exists, emphasizing that he is currently focused on performing his duties to the best of his ability, while his future steps will be of interest in due time.
This statement from Vance came a week after U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about the idea of running for a third "unconstitutional" presidential term, without completely closing the door on future scenarios, saying:
"I don't know. That would be interesting."
Regarding the 2028 election race, Trump declined to comment on the controversy over who will be the Republican party's nominee, while Vance hinted that he would speak with the president after the midterm elections in November about the possibility of his candidacy.
Conversely, Rubio did not close the door on running, but described Vance as a strong potential candidate, adding more ambiguity to the upcoming competition within the Republican party, amid speculation that Rubio may seek to enter the presidential race again after losing to Trump in 2016.
It is worth noting that Vance, the former Republican senator from Ohio, and Rubio, the former senator from Florida, continue to attract significant attention within the party, as they remain focused on their current duties and the diplomatic path of the United States, including relations with Iran.
