Chinese Minister: We support Iran in its nuclear talks with the United States.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Yi assured the Iranian Foreign Minister during talks in the Chinese capital of Beijing of Beijing's readiness to enhance coordination and cooperation with Tehran on international and regional affairs.
Wang stated: "The Chinese side commends Iran's commitment not to develop nuclear weapons and respects its right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday that Araghchi informed his Chinese counterpart of the latest developments in the "indirect talks between Iran and the United States," and thanked China for its constructive stance on the Iranian nuclear program and lifting sanctions.
The meeting took place ahead of new nuclear talks between the United States and Iran on Saturday, following Washington's imposition of sanctions on Chinese entities for purchasing Iranian oil in recent weeks.
