"Foul Defamation" .. Artist Ahmed Wafiq Announces His Intention to Sue Those Promoting His Involvement in Organ Trafficking

The Egyptian artist Ahmed Wafiq has vowed to take strict legal action against those promoting a fabricated video that has been circulated on the "TikTok" platform, containing false accusations that harm his reputation and falsely link him to a case related to human organ trafficking.
Wafiq expressed in a post on his official page on "Facebook" that the circulated video has been deliberately manipulated, as it originally comes from a congratulatory video message he sent to "Noah," the son of his friend artist Mohamed Attia, on the occasion of his birthday, before the clip was distorted by inserting a fake voice call resembling his voice, suggesting his involvement in a serious criminal case.
The artist clarified, saying: "There is someone who uploaded a video of me on TikTok, where I am congratulating Noah, the son of my friend Mohamed Attia, on his birthday, and he added a voice call between a man and a woman from TikTok, the voice resembles mine, and suggests that I am involved in organ trafficking." Wafiq continued: "I will file a complaint, and anyone who re-shares this video or defames me will not be spared, and I will hold them accountable by law."
Wafiq emphasized that what happened is considered "foul defamation" and a blatant injustice to his reputation, affirming that he will not remain silent in the face of this violation, and that he has tasked his legal team with taking all necessary actions to remove the video and pursue those involved in its creation and dissemination.
