Scandal Shakes French Streets .. Nurse Rapes Infants Inside Hospital

The French streets were shaken after the country's authorities announced the arrest of a nurse on charges of sexually assaulting infants and filming them in pornographic situations in a hospital northeast of Paris.

The newspaper "Le Figaro" reported from the public prosecutor's office in the city of Bobigny, northeast of Paris, that the 26-year-old nurse, who works in the neonatal department of Montreuil Hospital, faces charges related to "sexual assault on minors under the age of fifteen and filming pornographic materials involving children."

The case did not stop with the nurse but also implicated her partner, who was also arrested on charges of "inciting sexual assault" as well as "complicity in the assault on minors."

The court placed the accused under judicial supervision, imposing strict restrictions prohibiting them from communicating with each other and preventing them from leaving the Seine-Saint-Denis area, along with banning them from engaging in any professional activity related to minors.

The management of the hospital group in the city clarified that "the accused nurse worked exclusively in the neonatal resuscitation department of Montreuil Hospital, which is part of the group," a department that cares for premature infants, and she did not work in the delivery department.

The group management stated: "If the actions of this nurse are confirmed through the ongoing police investigations, they represent a serious personal deviation that the institution categorically condemns, and they do not reflect in any way a collective behavior within the department."
