General Intelligence Arrests Person with Explosive Devices Linked to Hezbollah in Homs
The General Intelligence agency, in cooperation with the Internal Security in Homs, managed to arrest a person named Mahmoud Fadel and seize a number of explosive devices in his possession during a security operation on Sunday.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated on Telegram: "The General Intelligence agency, in cooperation with the Internal Security leadership in Homs province, carried out a preemptive security operation that led to the arrest of Mahmoud Fadel after tracking and monitoring. He was found with a number of ready-to-use explosive devices that he intended to use in terrorist operations in the region".

The Ministry added: "Preliminary investigations revealed the detainee's connection to a cell affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, as he received the explosives through illegal smuggling crossings".

The Ministry confirmed that the explosive devices were confiscated, and the detainee was referred to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal actions against him.
