Assala Nasri comments on her dispute with Maya Diab: "I thought her words were from artificial intelligence"

In a press conference held last night, on the sidelines of her preparations for her anticipated concert in Beirut, Syrian artist Assala Nasri revealed details about her relationship with Lebanese singer Maya Diab, following the media uproar caused by their recent dispute.

Assala said: "I met Maya 5 years ago through our mutual friend, fashion designer Nicola Jebran," considering the times they spent together as "beautiful." She added that the distance between them occurred due to her travel and not returning to Lebanon, in addition to work and life circumstances.

Regarding Maya's recent statements, Assala expressed her great astonishment, saying: "By my father's head, I thought her words were AI," referring to her belief that the response might have been generated by artificial intelligence or fabricated.

She concluded her remarks by affirming: "There is nothing between us but good days," while preparing to hold a concert in Beirut today, Saturday, after a long absence from the Lebanese artistic scene.

It is worth noting that the dispute between the two artists escalated recently after Assala avoided talking about Maya during a previous press conference at the Jerash Festival in Jordan, prompting Maya to respond with sharp statements during her honoring at the "BIAF" festival in Beirut, describing her as "ungrateful" and urging her to "be silent."
