Arrival of a Qatari aid plane in Damascus carrying 60 tons of food supplies.

A Qatari cargo plane carrying 60 tons of food aid arrived at Damascus International Airport this Wednesday, May 14th, provided by the Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Charitable Foundation.
This is part of the relief campaign recently launched by the foundation to support the affected areas in Syria. Dr. Nasser Ali Al-Hajri, the CEO of the foundation, stated, "This plane is a continuation of the aid that the foundation started sending two days ago, which included 280 aid trucks, with 60 of them distributed in northern Syrian cities."
Al-Hajri added that "the remaining quantity will be distributed to the rest of the provinces, in coordination with the Syrian authorities," expressing his gratitude to "all relevant parties that facilitated the foundation's work in sending and distributing aid."
