Robert Arlett, a strategic expert in the American Republican Party, emphasized that easing the sanctions imposed on Syria is a crucial step to support the country's development process and help the Syrian people overcome the challenges they have faced in recent years.

This came during statements made by Arlett to "Al Cairo Al-Ikhbariya" channel, where he pointed out that "President Donald Trump has been clear in his strategy, working on lifting some sanctions on Syria and easing the obstacles hindering the Syrian economy," explaining that "these steps are part of a comprehensive vision for peace through direct cooperation with world leaders, without waiting for mandates from external parties."

Arlett also noted that "Trump's visit to the Middle East two weeks ago was of great importance, contributing to opening new channels of communication with regional leaders, paving the way for more stable relationships and broader economic opportunities," affirming that Trump's policy focuses on "sustainable peace away from regional interventions."

In conclusion, Arlett stressed that "supporting good relations with the Middle East is part of a long-term strategic plan aimed at achieving prosperity and well-being, not only for Syria but for the entire region, and enhancing American relations with its countries," considering that leveraging economic opportunities is a key factor in achieving "comprehensive peace."
