Apple unveils the M5 chip: a significant leap in artificial intelligence performance

The chip provides more than 4 times stronger graphics performance (GPU) compared to the previous generation M4, thanks to the integration of a neural accelerator in each core.
It also relies on third-generation 3-nanometer manufacturing technology and includes a central processor with ten cores (4 dedicated to performance and 6 for efficiency).
It offers a 15% improvement in multitasking performance and up to a 30% increase in unified memory bandwidth.
The chip will be available for the first time in the new MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Apple Vision Pro devices, which are available for pre-order starting today.
