In her first appearance after returning to Cairo following a severe health crisis, the Egyptian star Angham sent an emotional voice message to her audience, expressing her deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone who supported her during her illness.
Angham shared her message via her official "Facebook" account last Wednesday evening, saying in a voice filled with emotion:
"I hesitated a lot before sending this message, between writing it or speaking it in my voice, but I felt that my voice should reach all your hearts, you are the ones who stood by me and prayed for me from your sincere hearts."
She added that the sincere prayers from her audience were "the real medicine and the tender hand" that helped her recover, alongside the care of doctors and God's attention to her.
Amid tears she could not hide, Angham confirmed that words of gratitude and thanks are not enough to describe what she feels towards her audience, saying:
"My heart is filled with your love, and your love for me from the heart was the light that illuminated this difficult path for me."
She also emphasized that her fans did not only pray for the singer, but "prayed for a mother who wished to live for her children," explaining that her greatest fear during her health crisis was being deprived of seeing her children and living with them.
She continued:
"I prayed to God to grant me healing so that I could remain by my children's side, rejoice with them, and live their life moments," and described her audience as "rare, irreplaceable."
In conclusion of her message, Angham made a promise to her audience, saying in a voice choked with emotion:
"I miss seeing you, and God willing, I will see you soon on stage, and we will sing and celebrate together."
* Return from a long treatment journey
Angham returned to Cairo two days ago on a private plane, after a treatment journey that lasted nearly a month in Germany.
Her son Abdul Rahman documented moments of her return through the "story" feature on his "Instagram" account, where he appeared with his mother and brother in a series of photos that reflected warm moments and family reunion.
A close source to the artist revealed that Angham returned accompanied by her manager and several of her assistants, and decided to spend her recovery period at her home in the North Coast, where she will remain under medical supervision in the coming days until her complete recovery.
* Underwent two delicate surgeries
Angham underwent a surgical endoscopy in Germany to remove a cyst from her pancreas. After conducting precise tests, it became necessary to perform an additional surgery to remove the remaining part of the cyst and a portion of the pancreas.
Indeed, the second surgery was successfully performed before her return to Egypt, in a treatment journey that was crowned with success.
