Fairouz, the legendary artist, made a rare appearance during the funeral procession of her son, the musician Ziad Rahbani. She bore the marks of sorrow as she bid farewell to her son, amidst condolences from those present.

Fairouz appeared as a symbol of patience and strength, silently sad, but her silence spoke louder than any words spoken in such a tragedy.

Internet users and media outlets shared photos of Fairouz and scenes of the public bidding farewell to Ziad intensively, expressing their support for her and their longing for her rare appearances.

The Lebanese people gave their final farewell to the late artist Ziad Rahbani as he was being transferred from Al-Khouri Hospital in Al-Hamra, Beirut, to the town of Ykfe in Mount Lebanon where he was laid to rest, amidst flowers, applause, and the tunes of his artistic works.

The Lebanese and Arab artistic community mourned the death of the great Lebanese artist Ziad Rahbani at the age of 69 on Saturday, after a decades-long artistic career during which he left his unique and enduring mark on music, theater, and critical thinking in the Arab world.
