An employee at the University of Damascus requests to be excused due to the TV series "Under the Seventh Earth."

Marwan Al-Ra'i, the head of the University of Damascus classification office, requests to be relieved of his duties after the office was invaded and the lock broken to film the TV series "Under the Seventh Earth."
In the request submitted by Al-Ra'i on March 17, it stated: "It is noted that vacating the classification office, which contains all the university's data related to departments and faculties, in addition to stamping the classification office used in external correspondence, under the pretext of filming a TV series is unacceptable because the university is more important than the series regardless of the reason."
Al-Ra'i wrote in a post on his Facebook account on Monday, March 24: "It became clear that over a year and a half of work for the university is going in vain and that filming a scene from a TV series is more important than the university's classification, accreditation, and recognition of its graduates' certificates."
According to Al-Ra'i, the office contains over 157,550 university data and information, in addition to exam papers awaiting the results for the university students, despite informing the building's manager not to open the office due to the privacy of its contents.
