American aviation launches three airstrikes on Houthi sites.

The US air force carried out 3 airstrikes on Houthi targets in eastern Saada, Yemen, on Saturday evening. Earlier on Saturday, the US army launched two airstrikes on Houthi weapons depots in Kahlan camp, east of Saada. Washington has been targeting areas controlled by the Houthis for over two weeks to deter their naval attacks. On March 15, Washington announced a military operation against the Houthis to halt their attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, vital maritime trade routes. Washington reported killing several top Houthi officials.
