For the first time on the soil of the Kingdom, the works of the Munich Security Conference (MSC Leaders Meeting) began today, Wednesday, at the Mirror Theater in Al-Ula, with the participation of more than 70 prominent international figures from decision-makers and experts in the fields of politics, security, and economics.

In statements on the sidelines of the meeting, Syria's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Qabwat, stated that the upcoming Syrian People's Council "will witness an active female presence" in legislative work and decision-making, emphasizing the role of women in building the future of Syria.
For his part, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aaty welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's efforts to stop the war in Gaza, stressing during his participation in the conference the necessity of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip as a fundamental step towards de-escalation.
