The chances of Bahrain's Al-Khaldiya team qualifying for the next round have decreased.

Al-Khalidiya Bahraini Club lost to their Iranian guest Tractor 1-2 on Tuesday at the Bahrain National Stadium, in the first leg of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Round of 16.

Al-Khalidiya took the lead through a goal by Mohammed Al-Rumaihi in the 48th minute, before Tractor scored two goals by Amir Hossein Zadeh in the 50th minute, and Domagoj Drozdek in the 55th minute.

The second leg match between the two teams will be held on Tuesday, February 18, at the Yadegar Imam Stadium in Tabriz.

The winner of this encounter will face the winner of the match between Qatari Al-Wakrah and Saudi Al-Taawoun in the quarter-finals, who will play their first leg on Wednesday at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
