In an exciting development, social media platforms have turned into a battleground after a mysterious account appeared on Facebook under the name "Abu Joudat," dedicated to posting defamatory posts about the actress Hala Sedki, accusing her of attempting to tarnish the reputation of Shalimar Al-Sharbati, the wife of director Khaled Youssef, in exchange for half a million dollars.
The account did not limit itself to verbal attacks but also posted private photos of Hala Sedki accompanied by insults and obscenities, prompting the Egyptian actress to take legal action.
She filed an official complaint accusing the account owner of defamation and slander, leading the Egyptian security forces to pursue "Abu Joudat," as confirmed by security sources in Giza Governorate.
This incident comes amidst the exciting developments following the verdict against director Omar Zahran, sentencing him to two years in prison for the theft of Shalimar Al-Sharbati's jewelry.
Hala Sedki had testified in court, confirming that Zahran acted honestly when he found the jewelry in an apartment owned by Shalimar and returned it to her at a Cairo hotel.
However, his imprisonment overturned matters, especially after Hala sparked controversy with a cryptic message on Facebook following the verdict, stating:
"The game is not over yet, and whoever took a gift car and left the scene, the next turn is for the one after, and we will all celebrate."
This statement added to the mystery and speculation surrounding the case. Will the coming days bring new surprises? What will be the fate of "Abu Joudat" after the security forces move to apprehend him? Only time will tell.
