Abu Dhabi Hosts the World Conservation Conference 2025 with Wide International Participation

The United Arab Emirates is preparing to welcome the world to the World Conservation Conference 2025, which will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 9 to 15, organized jointly by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi.
The conference aims to embody the UAE's legacy in nature conservation and promote science-based collective solutions to address biodiversity challenges and species loss. This international event will feature ministers, scientists, indigenous leaders, as well as youth and representatives from civil society and the private sector, making it one of the most prominent global gatherings dedicated to environmental conservation.
The conference is expected to witness the launch of quality initiatives to guide international environmental policies, including the release of the updated version of the Red List of endangered species and the launch of a new European list of pollinators, along with showcasing the latest predictions for world heritage.
The event will also include the presentation of prestigious global awards such as the College Medal, the John C. Medal, the Phillips Medal, and the International Guardian Awards, in recognition of outstanding contributions to the protection of ecosystems around the world.
