A Second Direct Ship Docked at Tartus Port to Enhance Direct Imports

A second ship docked today at Tartus Port directly without passing through intermediary ports in Turkey or Lebanon, loaded with more than 36,000 tons of corn and Argentine soybean meal via the American company Bunge.
Mazen Aloush, the Director of Relations at the General Authority for Land and Maritime Ports, explained that this ship represents a new step towards enhancing direct import movement to Syria, contributing to securing the local market's needs for essential materials, ensuring the smooth flow of supplies, and reducing reliance on intermediary ports.
