6.7 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Indonesia

The US Geological Survey said a 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Tanimbar Islands region in the Maluku province of western Indonesia today, Monday.
According to the report, the earthquake occurred at 12:49:57 Eastern US time (08:49:57 Moscow time). It had a depth of 66 kilometers and was about 177 kilometers west of the city of Tual in the Indonesian province of Maluku.
The report added that there is no information yet on any damage or casualties from the earthquake site.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said no tsunami warning was issued due to today's earthquake in Indonesia.
The center, based in Hawaii, stated in a release: "No tsunami warning was issued at any level".
Today, a strong earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit southern Spain, causing panic and felt by residents in more than 50 towns, including the famous tourist region of Costa del Sol.
The Spanish National Geographic Institute recorded the earthquake at 7:13 am, indicating that its epicenter was off the coast of the city of Almería in the southeast of the country, at a depth of more than one kilometer below the surface.
