24 Syrian students are participating in the Asian-Pacific Informatics Olympiad held in Uzbekistan.

Syrian Scientific Olympiad students participated in the Asian-Pacific Informatics Olympiad "APIO 2025", organized by Uzbekistan remotely on the 17th and 18th of May, with students from 34 countries worldwide. The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated that 24 students from the Syrian Scientific Olympiad team specialized in informatics participated in this Olympiad from provincial centers. The authority mentioned that the test lasted for 5 continuous hours, including three programming tasks supported by the "c++" programming language that participants had to solve within the specified time. The authority indicated that the test was conducted over two days to allow participants to deal with the test at a suitable time for them.
