The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will host a tripartite meeting between Jordan, Syria, and the United States on the upcoming Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in Syria and focus on ways to support the reconstruction process.

The ministry clarified in its statement that the aim of the meeting is to discuss enhancing security and stability in Syria, based on principles that guarantee its sovereignty and meet the aspirations of the Syrian people in building a safe and stable future, while ensuring the rights of all Syrians. The statement added that the meeting will explore ways of cooperation among the concerned parties to provide the necessary support in various fields, including the economy, infrastructure, and basic services.

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shabani will attend the meeting, along with the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, Thomas Barak, who also serves as the U.S. Special Envoy to Syria. Representatives from the relevant institutions of the three countries will also participate in this meeting, reflecting the importance of cooperation and joint coordination to achieve tangible results in the Syrian file.

This meeting is a strategic step in the path of regional and international cooperation to support Syria in the reconstruction phase, and reflects the commitment of the three countries to assist the Syrian people in restoring their stability and achieving their aspirations for the future.
