Syrian tourism signs a memorandum of understanding with a coalition of Saudi-Qatari companies to develop some tourist facilities and sites.

The Syrian Ministry of Tourism signed today, Wednesday, a memorandum of understanding with a Saudi-Qatari coalition to praise and develop some tourist facilities and sites in Syria. The memorandum, signed in the presence of the Minister of Tourism Mazen Salihani, aims to praise and utilize a number of tourist sites and facilities to achieve the required level, ensuring economic feasibility, and increasing financial revenues for the state treasury. The memorandum also includes working on developing and praising tourist facilities and sites to contribute to achieving sustainable economic, cultural, social, and touristic development, and providing job opportunities for Syrian youth during the development and operation of these facilities. The Ministry of Tourism was represented by the Deputy Minister, Engineer Ghaith Al-Farrah, during the signing of the memorandum, while the Saudi-Qatari coalition was represented by Mr. Hamza Mohammed Al-Deiri. The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry, Ahed Al-Zaeem.
