Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the National Museum of Damascus today, Friday, accompanied by the Syrian Ministers of Culture and Awqaf, Mohammad Yassin Saleh and Mohammad Abu Khair Shakri.

The Saudi delegation was briefed on the archaeological and historical artifacts housed in the museum, which embody the richness of Syrian cultural heritage and its diversity across the ages, from prehistoric times, through ancient Syrian, Greek, and Roman civilizations, to Islamic artifacts and modern art.

This visit reflects Syria and Saudi Arabia's keenness to strengthen cultural relations by enhancing cooperation and supporting investment in culture as a path to enhance recovery, and open up prospects for development and rapprochement between peoples.

It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Minister of Investment arrived in Damascus on Wednesday, July 23, leading a delegation of more than 130 businessmen and investors to participate in the Syrian-Saudi Investment Forum, whose proceedings took place yesterday, Thursday, July 24, and witnessed the signing of 47 agreements and memoranda of understanding in various fields.
