The Internal Security leadership in Aleppo province arrested Brigadier Pilot in the defunct regime Imad Naffouri today, Monday, while attempting to extract forged documents in preparation for fleeing the country, where he was hiding in a residential building in Aleppo city, according to the Ministry of Interior.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated on Telegram: "Naffouri is one of the prominent officers involved in bombing rebellious Syrian cities and villages, having held several positions including commander of the 17th Air Brigade, director of the Air Operations Department, and Chief of Air Force Staff. His name is associated with carrying out numerous airstrikes that resulted in massacres against civilians, including targeting his hometown of Nabek."
It added: "He will be referred to the competent judiciary to complete the legal procedures against him".
