The "Syrian Telecommunications Company" announced that its network has experienced a technical malfunction that led to service interruption for several circuits, confirming that the reasons are beyond its control, while local sources reported that the malfunctions are concentrated in the governorates of Daraa and Sweida.

The company clarified in an official statement that technical teams have immediately begun accurately locating the malfunction and taking the necessary measures to repair it, aiming to restore service as quickly as possible. It also confirmed its commitment to ensuring service continuity and rapid response to any emergencies, thanking subscribers for their patience during the maintenance work.

On another note, large areas of Aleppo and the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor have witnessed a complete interruption of communication services, including landline, mobile, and internet services, due to a malfunction in the main fiber optic cable.

According to a source in the Deir ez-Zor Telecommunications Branch, the malfunction occurred 48 kilometers from the city center, leading to service interruption for the cities of Mayadeen and Boukamal and parts of the eastern countryside. The source indicated that technical teams are currently working to accurately locate the malfunction and repair it as quickly as possible.

The Ministry of Communications and Technology had previously announced, through an official statement, that the internet interruption in some areas was due to a technical malfunction, confirming that the teams of the "Syrian Telecommunications Company" are following up on the repairs to restore service at the earliest opportunity.

The company continues its efforts to restore service to its normal state, while committing to providing regular updates to subscribers regarding the progress of the repairs.
